How about Laguna Seca Blue? I know it's not a bimmer and large cars should be conservative looking. But LSB is just too cool to not throw out there.

Kind of a chromium chartreuse color with elements of indigo, bathed in a lavender after affect. Not too ostentatious, though; the shade should possess a more subdately classical aura.

It probably is hard to hit. It doesn't even look right in photos of cars with that paint.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems hard to alter that. I have no idea how you would take this image and make the paint look more matte. I know how to use Photoshop a bit but my skills aren't even 1/10th yours

I once saw a 928 in Philadelphia that was camouflage painted. It was very classy and I really wanted one... yeah I know sounds bizzare, but done right, it adds just the right amount of testicular fortitude
